Dollbergschleife Dream Loop (Traumschleife)

This attractive route leads all around the ridge of the up to 695 m tall Dollberge mountains. In doing so it also crosses a border: Approximately half the route goes through the Saarland borough of Nonnweiler, while the other half is located in the Hermeskeil association of municipalities in the Rhineland-Palatinate.

This tranquil hiking trail of medium difficulty links an astounding three attractions (the Otzenhausen ringfort, the preindustrial iron smelting location Züscher Hammer, and the Nonnweiler river dam) and has been awarded 65 experience points by the German Hiking Institute.
