The 275-kilometre-long Mosel Cycle Route and the 365-kilometre-long Moselsteig Quality Hiking Trail run right through the middle of the world's largest steep-slope wine-growing region. In addition, the Moselle and Saar rivers with their many meanders are wonderful spots for canoeists and other water sports fans.
