Lovers of sacred architecture and art will be richly rewarded with Gothic and Baroque jewels in Hartbergerland.

Two examples from the region:

In the magnificent church of Maria Lebing, the colors of a Marian cycle painted 250 years ago still shine as vividly today as if the famous Adam v. Mölck had only laid down his brush yesterday.

In the late medieval church of St. Stefan near Kaindorf, a fresco depicts a thin, bony man in black beaked shoes and tights loitering seemingly aimlessly on the outskirts of a village. A mountain with a fortified church towers in the center, while below the vain citizens show off their fine clothes. Hovering over this scenario is the Last Judgement: those who cannot convincingly explain their motives and alibis at the end of their earthly life are threatened by the Antichrist in the form of a dark man.

Ringwarte: The Ringwarte offers a panoramic view of the hilly landscape around the Ringkogel, the landmark and center of settlement in Hartbergerland. Every summer, a large mountain fair takes place here, which has been held on the Ringkogel since early Celtic times.
